Loving location with a great view and delicious food.

Absolute enthusiasm! Before we celebrated our wedding in the wine cellar, we were already eating here and now. Simply top class! The kitchen has always 100 percent convinced, the service is without exception excellent and the location with the wonderful interior does the rest. Our wedding guests saw it the same way and loved the food, the wines, the service and the location. We will be back, extra from Munich, from where we send warm greetings.

Been there two weeks ago. Atmosphere, decor, view beautiful. There are also 3 points. Unfortunately, the food was just the opposite. I have never eaten so badly. Fish through and tough, side dishes did not fit at all. Thick schnitzel with withered salad .. If we come again, then only to drink. Then still expensive, price-performance does not fit here at all.

A delicious breakfast, with a sensational breathtaking view. I recommend it, it's worth trying once.

Very nice atmosphere. The food is high priced but justified. The food is of high quality and 90% well prepared. There is a half star deduction, because the vegetables to Odenwälder Schnitzel was extremely overcooked, which is why the Romanesco was not edible for me. The salad is delicious, with a fine spicy, slightly sweet vinaigrette, a touch of garlic, really good! For starters we had the goat cheese, absolutely to be recommended! Our main courses, the roast sausage and the roulades as well as the deer stew were really, very good! Also the Schnitzel were well prepared. The steakhouse fries were really the best I have eaten in a long time. The service is friendly, no professionals but ambitious. 5 meals were served 5 times and the first had a good "lead" too. Last one got served. That could be a little better. For that I withdraw again half a star.

Very nice staff, excellent food and great atmosphere

Long waiting times for drinks or to even place an order. Then a lot of confusion by the service, which wasn't corrected in the invoice. The food was good, but it didn't quite justify the prices. Most of my salad consisted of stems, but the dressing was tasty. The ambience is very nice, outside and inside.

Nice restaurant, very tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Delicious food with a clear map. I can only recommend it to everyone, we always go back.

The location and view from the restaurant is what first attracted us to this place. It sits up on a hill overlooking the fields and vineyards. You can sit inside or outside on the patio. The meal was absolutely one of the best meals ever in Germany or anywhere! Absolutely delicious food. Traditional German food that is expertly prepared. The staff is extremely accommodating. We will definitely return to here again. If you are in Rheinhessen, you should defiantly go here. It is a little off the main roads, but well worth finding!
